************************************************
Trung Nguyên Legend Café is a high-end cafe in Vietnam that is very popular with locals and tourists alike.
This time, instead of the Vietnamese coffee served at Trung Nguyên Legend Café, I tried the legendary coffee Kopi Luwak.
185,000 VND per cup → About 1100 yen!
Kopi Luwak is coffee made from civet cat feces.
Do they drink feces?
No,
civet cats eat coffee beans
↓ They cannot completely digest the coffee beans
↓ They excrete the coffee beans as they are.
↓ Fermentation by the action of enzymes in the stomach.
↓
The flavor is very strong and tastes better than regular coffee
Of course, it is very expensive because it takes time and effort.
This cafe serves it, so I tried it.
I love coffee and have tried many kinds, but
this was the first time I had tried it, and it had a strange taste.
It had a rich and full-bodied flavor.
The interior is stylish and the staff are kind and friendly, so I recommend it!
[One word of advice]
You drop the kopi luwak at your seat and drink it.
It takes a surprisingly long time to drop, so
go to the cafe with plenty of time.
Don't worry, there are coffees and cakes other than kopi luwak, so of course!
They also sell kopi luwak as souvenirs!
It comes in a wooden box and costs 1,255,000 VND (about 7,500 yen), 225g, so if you're interested, please come!
There is also a Japanese restaurant called Marugame Seimen right in front of the intersection, so it's a good place to take a break after eating there!
