Hiking to the Top of Taipei, Qixing Mountain Main Peak Vibes

#chinatravel I finally made it to the top of Qixing Mountain Main Peak, which stands at 1120 meters and is the highest point in Taipei City, Taiwan. Pretty awesome hike. The trail starts off easy, then it just keeps climbing. Lots of stone steps. Like, a lot. Your legs will definitely remember them.

Weather was kinda humid but not too bad. I brought way too little water though, rookie mistake. Definitely bring more than you think you need.

The views at the top? Totally worth every step. You get this wild mix of city skyline, ocean views and rolling mountains all around. It’s windy up there too, which feels amazing after the climb.

Took a bunch of pics at the summit marker. Everyone up there was chill and happy. There’s a great vibe when you’re all tired and proud together.

Would I do it again? For sure. Just with better snacks next time. If you’re in Taipei and wanna hike, this one’s a must.
