The Top Choice for Hot Spring Hotels in Tengchong

Following a friend's recommendation, I booked this hotel and it certainly didn't disappoint. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, including courtyard-style suites perfect for families with interconnected rooms. We stayed in a family suite for three - the living room was enormous with 270-degree bamboo forest views, and featured a generously sized indoor hot spring soaking tub. The scenery of bamboo groves outside the window was breathtaking, and the hotel's preset music playing at the bar area was particularly soothing.

The hotel offers shuttle service to Heshun Ancient Town, though it's actually within pleasant walking distance past golden wheat fields (absolutely stunning and photogenic during our visit - see my other Tengchong travel notes). While the ancient town is interesting to explore, we preferred the hotel's serene atmosphere away from urban noise. The only drawback was the limited dining options onsite and unavailable food delivery, so we recommend enjoying meals in the ancient town or bringing takeout back.
