Located between Akihabara and Ochanomizu, Kanda Shrine (Kanda Myojin) ⛩️ is a 1300-year-old shrine that frequently collaborates with anime. Walking up the slope from the emerald green torii gate, you'll see the vibrant vermilion "Water God Gate."
The main hall, with its interplay of vermilion and emerald green, is the most representative feature of Kanda Shrine. Other buildings also boast bright colors, and a "divine horse" is kept here.
Behind the "Ōkuninushi Ōjin Statue" is the [unclear - possibly a place name or structure] which opened in 2018. EDOCCO Cultural Exchange Center combines tradition and innovation, featuring a café, event space, and souvenir shop. Furthermore, the shrine itself is listed as one of the "88 Must-Visit Anime Sites in Japan."
The amulets here are incredibly cute and unique 💜. The top choice is the lace amulet themed around wisteria and a white rabbit 🐰. The seasonal limited editions are also gorgeous 🍁, full of autumnal charm. And there are also Rilakkuma amulets that Rilakkuma fans absolutely cannot miss!
