#KyotoSightseeing
Introducing a Kyoto strategy route that covers history, nature, and gourmet food!
📍Byodoin Phoenix Hall (Uji)
The Phoenix Hall is a World Heritage Site and is also depicted on the 10 yen coin. The building reflected in Aji Pond is spectacular, and if you visit first thing in the morning, you can avoid the crowds and enjoy it quietly. Be sure to get up close and personal to see the details of the Phoenix statue.
📍Kyoto Tower (Kyoto Station)
A landmark that stands at the gateway to Kyoto. From the observation deck, you can see the cityscape of Kyoto in 360 degrees, and the evening lights are especially beautiful. The retro souvenir shops and public baths below the tower are also worth seeing.
📍Bamboo Forest Path (Arashiyama)
The silence makes you feel as if you have wandered into another world. Every time the wind blows, the bamboo sways and makes a rustling sound. If you go around 7am, there are fewer tourists and it is easy to take mystical photos!
📍Togetsukyo Bridge (Arashiyama)
This bridge can be said to be the symbol of the Arashiyama area. The scenery changes with the seasons, and the breeze across the river feels great! It's especially beautiful in spring and autumn. Be sure to check out the nearby food stalls and yudofu shops.
📍Saori Japanese Chestnut Specialty (Shijo Karasuma)
Their famous "1mm Mont Blanc" is a hot topic on social media. The delicate chestnut threads squeezed in front of you are a work of art. It's a blissful dish that combines Japanese elegance with a modern feel.
A route where you can enjoy history, nature, and sweets in one day! Enjoy nature in Arashiyama → Immerse yourself in culture in Uji → Finally, enjoy a warm and sweet treat in Karasuma. If you have enough energy, you can also finish off the day at Kyoto Tower.
