Unforgettable Anniversary Celebration at Veligandu Resort

My wife, daughter, and I marked our 10th wedding anniversary at this hotel. We expected a wonderful vacation, and this gorgeous typical Maldivian barefoot island exceeded our expectations. Particularly noteworthy is the island's ideal average size of around 660 m in length and 150 m in width – just right for comfort. The hotel provides excellent service, and the staff is incredibly friendly, hospitable, and very competent. A stunning lagoon with its own reef is conveniently nearby, allowing for easy diving near the villa. White sandy beaches, an azure lagoon, and the amazing Indian Ocean are all there. Various water activities are available. The villas cater to all preferences. We preferred the sunset side villas, but that's a personal choice. There are three restaurants: one buffet and two a la carte, all providing delicious and diverse food with an extensive wine list (the all-inclusive package covers most menu items, and the mini-bar is refilled daily). The Raalhu restaurant stands out with exquisite dishes served like at a luxury venue. Special thanks to waitress KAY for her attentive service, wine recommendations, and genuine care. We eagerly anticipate our next visit and send warm regards from chilly Moscow. Heartfelt thanks to chef RAMO for the scrumptious beef tartare and delectable chicken breast with foie gras. Appreciation also goes to butler NAVEEN for his almost constant assistance and the thoughtful wedding anniversary gifts, particularly the specially-made cake tailored to our preferences. For our future trip to the Maldives, Veligandu is the clear choice. We've fallen for this resort.
