Just returned from a torturous trip to Xiangyang - seriously don't come in June!

Hey travel buddies! 👋 This travel commando just finished a Xiangyang trip and is typing this drenched in sweat! 💨 Gotta share this painful lesson - visiting Xiangyang in June was pure suffering! 🥵 Here's your survival guide - smart travelers save first, read later!!

🌞 First "sin": Hellish heat

Folks! June in Xiangyang is literally a "walking steamer"! 🔥 Got hit by 38°C heatwave the moment I stepped off the train - sun protection clothes + umbrella were useless!! Five minutes outside = two hours sweating 💦. Planned ancient city wall cycling and moat strolls 🚴♀️ all turned into "sun survival challenges"!! Even locals hiding in AC say: "Going out in this weather? Your life belongs to AC!"

Wanted beautiful Tang Dynasty architecture photos 🏮 but makeup melted in 30 minutes, hair stuck to face, all photos became "meme expressions" 📸... Ended up hiding in convenience stores buying ice drinks 🥤. Supposed "Tang Dynasty time travel" became "famine escape scene"!!

🚶 Second "sin": Crowded beyond movement

Never expected! June isn't even peak season but Xiangyang was packed!! 😭 Bei Street, Weidong Machinery Factory - everywhere was sea of people 👥👥👥! Want clean photo? Impossible!! Split up with friends to find angles but got separated in crowds - had to scream to regroup...

Worse was taxis 🚕! Impossible near attractions, buses packed like sardines!! We walked 2km under scorching sun to find shared bikes - feet burning, got blisters by hotel...

🍜 Third "sin": Ruined food experience

Researched Xiangyang beef noodles and rice wine beforehand 🤤 but... too hot to eat!! 🔥 Scalding noodles made me sweat buckets - couldn't even taste the delicious beef fat! Rice wine was refreshing but drinking sweet alcohol in heat felt wrong...

Night market? Forget it!! Craved BBQ and fried skewers 🍢 but heat drove us into malls for AC and iced milk tea 🧋. Dream food trip became "ice drink battle"...

❗ Bloody advice: Come another time!

Despite bad experience, Xiangyang is truly charming!! 🥺 Ancient walls' history, Tang Paradise's night views, authentic food... Would be amazing if not for June heat!!

✅ Proper way to visit:

• Avoid June-August heat, spring/autumn (Mar-May, Sep-Nov) perfect for photos!

• Plan routes, visit popular spots early to avoid crowds~

• Sun protection + hydration essential!! Sunscreen, hats, mini fans - survival first!!

💥 Listen up friends! June Xiangyang is "too much to bear" 😭!! But don't give up! Come back in cooler weather - this gem city will wow you!! 🌟 Save this guide and let's conquer Xiangyang this autumn!! 🚀
