Back from Yangzhou|2-Day 1-Night Ultimate Guide|Sharing with Everyone!

Yangzhou is compact and perfect for a weekend family trip with kids. Follow the basic itinerary in Figure 2.

❤️Route Plan:
Day1️⃣: Grand Canal Museum - He Garden - Pishi Street - Dongguan Street (Geyuan Garden)
Day2️⃣: Yangzhou Dim Sum Breakfast - Slender West Lake (Daming Temple)

🌟Grand Canal Museum: Book 7 days in advance. We spent 5 hours there, but 3 hours is enough if short on time. Must-see halls: 1, 2, 3, 9, 13. There’s a dining area in the basement. Hall 2 features a sand-sailing boat ride, and Hall 3 recreates Tang-Song dynasty streets.
🌟He Garden: Ingeniously designed, perfect for leisurely appreciation and photos.
🌟Pishi Street: Just a short walk from He Garden. A charming street full of creative boutiques.
🌟Dongguan Street: Ideal for night strolls. Geyuan Garden is near the west end, with night tours available.
🌟Slender West Lake: Highly recommend the rowboat (can share with others). Skip Daming Temple? Exit via the west gate after entering from the south gate. The north gate area is quieter but lacks shade. Daming Temple is visible upon exit.

💜Accommodation: Stay near Dongguan Street or Pishi Street. Our group of 3 adults + 3 kids found a newly opened hotel for just ¥270/night—amazing value! 😆 Great service too.
❤️Yangzhou Cuisine: Quyuan, Xiangyuan, Huayuan Tea House, Fuchun Tea House—all delicious. We ordered Huayuan’s breakfast via delivery: Wuding Bao, Sanding Bao, dried tofu shreds, crab roe soup dumplings, layered oil cake, and Yangzhou fried rice.
