The hotel is located in Golden Sand Beach, just a 6-min drive from the popular check-in spot, "The Lonely Whale." Although the weather was cold and the sea breeze was biting, the hotel's design and the charm of the ocean view room more than made up for it. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a high-floor Deluxe Boutique Ocean View King Room upon check-in. The 55m² space was well-designed, with both the bed and bathtub facing the sea directly. The main color scheme of orange and dark blue gave the room a vibrant, oceanic feel.
Hotel Service
The staff were warm and thoughtful, and the check-in process was quick. Although there was no executive lounge, they offered a CNY 90 dining voucher, which could be used in the restaurant on the first floor, offering excellent value for money.
Dining Experience
For dinner, I used the dining voucher to order a bowl of signature beef noodles and a drink, and only had to pay about CNY 30 extra. The portion of beef was generous, and although the noodles were a little clumpy, the taste was good. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, including fresh juice and handmade steamed buns. As someone from the south, I wasn't quite used to it, but the overall experience was good.
Ocean View and Atmosphere
The room directly faced the sea, offering stunning views on a clear day. Even though the temperature was zero degrees Celsius on the day of my stay and the sea breeze was strong, listening to my Bluetooth speaker and watching the white waves crash against the shore was a unique experience.
