I went to the end of Japan!

📍Location: Yonaguni Island, Okinawa Prefecture

1. Recommended Point: Beautiful Ocean
Yonaguni Island is famous for diving, but the ocean is simply stunning.

2. Recommended Point: Home to the Yonaguni Island Horse, a National Monument

The horses blocking the road or strolling around are not a national monument, but

Real Yonaguni horses are small and very friendly!

Apparently, there are only a few Yonaguni horses on the island, making this a rare opportunity to enjoy the ocean. 💕

Riding on a horse or holding onto its tail feels like you're surrendering yourself to it!
Highly Recommended! ✨

3. Recommended Point
For tableware lovers, we recommend Yamaguchi Pottery Studio. They have plates with the Yonaguni Island logo, Okinawa-inspired memo holders, and many other tableware!

4. Recommended Point
The island's only liquor store.
We recommend Hanazake, a 60-proof awamori that can only be enjoyed on Yonaguni Island.

My recommended izakaya is Kaikyo (Umikyo)

This is a fantastic restaurant where you can enjoy local delicacies like delicious swordfish sashimi, chomeiso soba noodles, and green papaya salad!

It's a bit far and out of reach, but you can still have a great time with 2 nights and 3 days!
