Stay in the Secret Garden of Xiangxi at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park—this place is full of perks

Booking this homestay in Zhangjiajie completely changed my expectations for accommodation! 😭

📍 Yanqi Mountain Lodge (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Branch) is incredibly comfortable!

It’s located right inside the national 5A scenic area, right next to the heavenly Baofeng Lake. Opening the window feels like stepping into a landscape painting at any moment~ It’s only 1.5 km from the iconic Zhangjiajie Forest Park entrance and 1.5 km from Wulingyuan Bus Station, making it super convenient for sightseeing or travel! There’s free parking at the door, perfect for self-driving visitors 🚗

🎨 Each room uses no more than three colors, with no messy or complicated lines, full of a “blank space” sense of sophistication. Staying here instantly relaxes you~ But minimalism doesn’t mean neglect! Free private WiFi, 24-hour continuous hot water, and air conditioning with heating and cooling are all included. The bathroom features star-rated hotel brand products, and the mattress is custom double-layered, feeling as soft as being wrapped in clouds ☁ Even the hot water circulation system is strictly controlled—detail lovers will adore it!

I usually bring my own bedding when staying at homestays or hotels, but this time I was too lazy to set it up! The quilt, sheets, and pillows are so clean they shine, soft and comfortable to the touch, giving a full sense of security~ The basic amenities like air conditioning, hot water, shower, and laundry are all excellent and easy to use, no compromises needed!

The host and hostess are really as warm as family! 👫 The young host is super enthusiastic and even helps plan your travel routes! I was hesitating about joining a tour, but the host’s itinerary was amazing—covering all the forest park’s attractions easily in 2 days, with no rush or exhaustion~ When you come back tired, they thoughtfully prepare hot tea, instantly healing your fatigue! The hostess is very easygoing too; you can go downstairs at night to chat and drink tea, feeling as relaxed as talking with a distant friend, with no sense of strangers~ And the host’s son is super cute, occasionally showing up and melting hearts 👶

The check-in perks are really touching! 🎁 There’s a hand-drawn map by the host, simple and easy to understand, so you never have to worry about getting lost in the scenic area~ Plus welcome tea and breakfast, full of thoughtful details and warmth!

No worries about nearby food either! 🍜 You can walk to Xiaohongshu-recommended restaurants and homestay-recommended local specialties, making it super convenient to eat and explore~ Nearby attractions include Wulingyuan, Baofeng Lake Scenic Area, the Zhangjiajie “Charming Xiangxi” show, and Xibu Street, so you can plan your fun and sightseeing perfectly!

I really love this “small but exquisite” mountain lodge! Opposing vain commercialized travel, it only seeks a simple lifestyle and relaxation away from the world. Just like its vibe, in this complex world, having “one” place like this is enough~
