I temporarily decided to stay in Lijiang for two nights, and the sixth day's itinerary was to wander around the ancient city of Dayan. The first stop is Shuhe Ancient Town on the Tea Horse Ancient Road. It is said that Shuhe Ancient Town is much less commercialized than Dayan Ancient City, and it is a good place to be quiet and in a daze, but in my opinion, it is almost no different from Dayan Ancient City, and you have to buy a 30 yuan ticket to enter the ancient town.

In Shuhe Ancient Town, we started from Hari Valley, walked all the way to Sifang Street, and then crossed the Qinglong Bridge to Jiuding Longtan. There was a lot of noise all the way, and people didn't have much interest. Finally, when we were about to leave, we came to Shilian Temple.

I didn't expect that Shilian Temple changed my impression of Shuhe Ancient Town. Shilian Temple is located on the lotus mountain on the west side of the ancient town, the main hall is hidden in the cave on the cliff, the whole temple is built on the mountain, quiet and simple, exquisite and peaceful, if you continue to walk up the mountain along the path at the entrance of the temple, you can walk into the former ancient tea horse road.

On the morning of the sixth day, I saw Shuhe Ancient Town and continued north to Baisha Ancient Town.I thought that Baisha Ancient Town would be more original, but who knew that the entire ancient town had become a market, without the tranquility of the southern ancient town, and there was a lot less breath of life. Baisha Ancient Town is more famous for the Baisha murals, because it is not allowed to take pictures, so there is not much interest in spending money to buy tickets to enter.

Baisha Ancient Town continues north to Yuhu Ancient Village, an ancient village at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, when Locke was in Lijiang, he stayed here most of the time, which shows the charm of this place. The houses here are very distinctive, all made of local naturally formed mountains and rocks, simple and beautiful, and you will like it at first glance.

The weather is gloomy on this day, and it is said that the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain can be clearly seen in Baisha and Yuhu Lake, and it is easy to take pictures of the ancient houses with the snow-capped mountains in the background, especially the Longnu Lake near Yuhu Lake, where you can quietly enjoy the reflection of the snow-capped mountains. All this is imagination-like, but unfortunately the snow-capped mountains have never been seen. However, a day of rain has also made Lijiang's ancient cities, ancient towns, and ancient villages a little less exaggerated, adding a few more comforts and comforts.
