Day 1 Lijiang Ancient Town

Day 1 Wandering around Lijiang Ancient Town at night

We stayed in Lijiang Ancient Town, and after arriving at the hotel, we went straight to visit the ancient town

PS: I quite like Lijiang Ancient Town. Although there is still a visible commercial atmosphere, I think it is acceptable. I really don’t know how many times we visited the ancient town during the few days we were there. Haha

On the first day, we ate at a Chongqing noodle restaurant on the street outside the ancient town. Their Dandan noodles are delicious!! And if you don’t eat enough, you can get free refills for $15 per serving

Day 2: Lijiang Ancient Town

Our second day was purely for photography. We stayed in the shop

We rented costumes and did the makeup, and then took the photos ourselves. I really like the Naxi costumes. If you don't know what to wear there, you can try the Naxi costumes (the picture above is of a Miao girl, not a Naxi girl)

Lunch at a restaurant in the ancient town, we had local specialties. The taste was okay, but it felt a bit expensive

Day 3: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Shuhe Ancient Town

There were seven of us, so we decided to join a small tour group. The price was 340 per person, including a 100 mountain entrance fee (we had student IDs so we got a 50 refund), 10 cable car tickets (140), lunch, transportation, oxygen tanks, and winter clothing. I personally felt it was well worth it.

One thing to note: Before you climb the snow mountain, a staff member will explain the precautions and ask you to buy oxygen tanks and oral liquids. There's no need to buy them there! We were afraid to buy a bottle of oxygen there because we heard the staff say that everyone else bought one there for 39 yuan. It's best to buy it yourself outside, which costs 10 yuan each. (We bought 10 bottles in total, including a small trial bottle for each person. We had 6 large bottles left, which we gave away.

After we finished climbing, we transferred to Shuhe Ancient Town.

The route from Lijiang Ancient Town to Shuhe Ancient Town is about 30 minutes.

PS: We went to a bar in Shuhe Ancient Town that night. Shuhe Ancient Town is relatively quiet and there are not many people, but the atmosphere in the bar is pretty good. There is a cat that you can feed, and you can also

order a ten for free and sing on the stage.

Day 4: Wild Country

At first I just wanted to check out Nanbo Bunny, but after entering I was really pleasantly surprised!! I saw other guides saying that there was a two-hour limit on entry, but maybe because of the bad weather that day, there was no time limit. We spent more than three hours exploring the entire place.

Dinner in Shuhe Ancient Town, Lijiang. I will definitely come back to eat here again!

One of the more distinctive and delicious restaurants in Shuhe Ancient Town. It is a must-try for the first meal every time I come here for a short stay. I think I have ordered this set meal five times. Sometimes I dine with my family, sometimes I invite friends. It is a very classic set meal with an affordable price. The dishes are all good. I also ordered my favorite Dai-style lemon chicken feet. It's a pity that the milk white wine was sold out today. I will come again next time. The environment is nice and the service is good. In short, I am very satisfied and will come again.
