Lashi Lake
A symbolic ride on the Ancient Tea Horse Road with the kids. It rains a lot in Lijiang in the summer.
The wetland park has basically turned into a lake. You can't really tell it's a wetland anymore.
This is no longer what it used to be.
Ten years ago, I could go boating and ferrying in the wetland park. That's no longer possible.
Lijiang Eternal Love - I highly recommend it if you come to Lijiang
You can help your children understand the past and present of the Naxi people through a performance you saw
A city understood through a stage play
Waterfall
Water curtain
Light and shadow
Sound and electricity
Extremely vivid
Day 2
Many people went to the Snow Mountain and Blue Moon Valley, but it was rainy season.
We gave up that trip and hired a car.
Headed to Yuhu Village in Lijiang - the first village in the Snow Mountain, a typical Naxi village. The former residence of Locke is located here, a stone house made of piles of stones.
It feels like time has passed.
The village's Pu Shi Cafe was crowded with people checking in. The rooftop view is beautiful, but there are so many people taking pictures that I can't stand it sometimes.
Whether it's a phone or a camera, there's nothing wrong with taking a few photos to capture the scenery and people in your lens and memories.
But if you just take up space and pose for photos, there is no point at all.
They don’t care about the people in the queue behind you. It really proves the saying that as long as you are not embarrassed, others will be embarrassed.
Baisha Ancient Town
Compared to the bustling Dayan Ancient Town, this place is much quieter.
Wander around and sit in your favorite town, and then take the kids on a night tour of the Mu Mansion. It's a unique experience. With the Forbidden City to the north and the Mu Mansion to the south, the lights are on and time goes back. It's more interesting than during the day.
It's more interesting at night.
Transform yourself into Xu Xiake himself and travel around the Mu Mansion. It's a true drama. The beauty of the palace is comparable to that of a king.
Dayan Ancient Town at night
Flowers and lights everywhere
It's no exaggeration to say it's a city that never sleeps. The sheer number of people taking travel photos is off-putting. Every three steps you take there's a travel photography shop with a long queue. I've been abroad for a long time
I like things that are more natural and pure. It's too commercial.
It's lost the original beauty of the ancient town.
Day 3: Sleeping in until I woke up naturally
Wander around Shuhe Ancient Town in your own way. Although it's not what I remembered from ten years ago, here
Life still slows down. Time slows down. The sunshine after the rain. The cobblestone streets of the ancient city. The gurgling stream.
The bustling crowd is full of spirituality and life. Admire the flowers in the courtyard. Watch the clouds by the bridge. Wait for the rain under the eaves.
You can come here to be in a daze in any season.
Lijiang cuisine that has touched my heart
I came across a great restaurant in Shuhe Ancient Town. The environment is particularly good. There's a resident singer right at the entrance, singing very artistic folk songs that really relax the listener! There are flowers everywhere, and it was a great time to bring my kids here. The waiters were very enthusiastic and the service was great. Yunnan is really perfect for photography. I'll come again next time. The location is easy to find. Shuhe Ancient Town isn't as crowded as Dayan Ancient Town, so there are quiet photo spots everywhere! I really like Yunnan cuisine, especially the Dai-style!
