Hongshi Park is located in the heart of Laiwu, Jinan City, bordered by Luzhong Street to the south, Wenyuan Street to the north, Gongyuan Road to the east, Changshao Road to the west, and adjacent to Laiwu Municipal Government Square. With a total area of approximately 54 hectares, including approximately 8.5 hectares of water surface, 3.9 hectares of green space, and 0.46 hectares of road and square space, it is currently the largest comprehensive entertainment venue in Laicheng District and the largest public public park in the urban area of Laiwu.
Due to the influence of the very strong Yanshan Movement of that era and long-term weathering and erosion, the Jurassic red strata in Laiwu only remain in the trough of the nearly east-west Laiwu Baligou syncline, distributed in Laicheng and the southeast area. Because the rock type is bright red fine-grained feldspar ore, it is named "red stone".
Jinan has a temperate monsoon climate with obvious monsoons and distinct four seasons: dry and rainy spring, warm and rainy summer, cool and dry autumn, and cold and snowy winter.
