Overnight parking

We are traveling down in two weeks. Our rental only allows 2 cars. We have 4! Any ideas or places to park overnight? We are willing to pay. Thank you

Traveling to Seagrove Beach with more vehicles than your rental allows is a common challenge, but there are several options for overnight parking in the area if you’re willing to pay.

First, many vacation rentals strictly limit the number of cars due to HOA rules or limited driveway space. However, public or commercial parking can often accommodate additional vehicles. Here are some options to consider:

  • Public parking lots: Some nearby beaches and town centers have paid public parking lots. Check the Seagrove Beach or South Walton County websites for locations and fees. These are usually available for overnight parking at a daily rate.
  • Local garages or valet services: Some hotels and resorts in the area offer valet or overnight parking for non-guests for a fee. Calling ahead is essential to confirm availability and rates.
  • Private parking rentals: Occasionally, residents or property managers rent out extra driveway or lot spaces to visitors. Websites like Neighbor or local Facebook groups can help you find these spaces.
  • Nearby towns: If parking in Seagrove itself is limited, consider checking adjacent towns like Seaside or Grayton Beach. Some public or commercial lots there may allow overnight parking and are a short drive away.

It’s important to avoid street parking unless explicitly allowed, as local ordinances can be strict and fines or towing are common. Always confirm the rules with property owners or parking operators.

Planning ahead and reserving a spot if possible will save stress upon arrival, especially during peak summer travel periods when Seagrove Beach is busy.
