Levi stadium concert
Hello I’m trying to find a good hotel for a concert for Aug 1-2? Any recommendations for a good rated hotel not too far but in a nice area?
If you’re going to a concert at Levi’s Stadium on August 1–2 and want a nearby, well-rated, and reasonably convenient hotel, here are some strong recommendations in and around Santa Clara / San Jose:
- Hyatt Regency Santa Clara — About 0.6 miles from the stadium. This is a full-service, upscale hotel with comfortable rooms, good amenities, and a solid reputation.
- Aloft Santa Clara — Very close (roughly 0.4 miles). More modern and trendy, with a younger vibe, free Wi-Fi, and a bar. Good value for the location.
- Hilton Santa Clara — Also quite close to the stadium. Offers the reliability and amenities of a Hilton, with an outdoor pool.
- Hyatt Centric Santa Clara — Slightly more boutique-feel. About a 6-minute drive to the stadium. Features a pool, a nice courtyard, and an on-site restaurant/bar.
- Delta Hotels Santa Clara Silicon Valley — A good mid-tier option, comfortable and practical, with decent access to the stadium and other Silicon Valley amenities.
- Homewood Suites by Hilton San Jose/Santa Clara — Ideal if you want more space or “suite vs. typical hotel room.” Kitchens in-room, plus a pool.
- Four Points by Sheraton / Hotel Montgomery (Downtown San Jose) — If you don’t mind staying a little further and using public transport, this historic downtown option provides a more “city” feel, and you can take VTA Light Rail to Levi’s Stadium.
Tips for Your Stay:
- Because the area near Levi’s Stadium is more of a corporate / business park neighborhood, walkability at night may be limited, but many concertgoers walk between hotels and the stadium.
- Use the VTA Light Rail — the Great America/Levi’s Stadium station on the Green and Orange Lines is very useful for getting to/from downtown, San Jose, or other transit hubs.
- Book early: Hotels in Santa Clara fill up fast around big stadium events, and you’ll likely find better rates if you lock in soon.
- Consider traffic: After the show, traffic can be heavy. Staying close helps, and using transit or walking (if your hotel is nearby) might be easier than driving out immediately.
My Recommendation: For ease, comfort, and proximity, Hyatt Regency Santa Clara or Aloft Santa Clara are probably your best bets. If you want something a little more boutique or resort-like, the Hyatt Centric is worth considering. And if you’re okay using public transit, staying downtown in San Jose gives a different feel and potentially more nightlife options.
Have an amazing time at the concert!
