Delta sky lounge at SAV Airport

Looking to get some information regarding the Delta sky lounge at the SAV airport. Does this lounge serve food and drinks? Some of the reviews I’ve seen online note water and coffee service with small snacks. I usually try to eat in the sky lounge prior to boarding and I want to see if perhaps I should make different arrangements for my departing flight. Thank you.

The Delta Sky Club at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) is a smaller lounge compared to major hub airports, so the amenities are somewhat limited. It provides a comfortable space to relax before your flight, with seating, free Wi-Fi, and power outlets for charging devices. However, the food and beverage offerings are more modest than larger Delta Sky Clubs.

Regarding food, the lounge generally offers light snacks such as packaged nuts, chips, granola bars, and occasionally small pastries. There is not a full-service buffet or hot meal service, so if you prefer a substantial meal before flying, it’s a good idea to eat elsewhere beforehand or grab something at the terminal.

As for beverages, the lounge offers a variety of options:

  • Coffee, tea, and soft drinks available throughout the day.
  • Water stations to refill bottles.
  • Alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, and basic spirits, are typically available at no extra cost for members or eligible guests.

If you usually plan to have a full meal in the Sky Lounge prior to boarding, you may want to make other arrangements at SAV, such as dining at one of the nearby airport restaurants or grabbing a meal in the terminal. The lounge is best suited for light snacks, beverages, and a quiet place to work or relax.

  • Arrive early if you want to secure a seat, as the lounge is small and can fill up during peak travel times.
  • Consider using mobile ordering or airport restaurants if you prefer a hot meal before your flight.
  • Check the Delta Sky Club website or call ahead, as lounge amenities can change and sometimes offer seasonal snacks or additional options.

Overall, the Delta Sky Lounge at SAV is convenient for drinks, light snacks, and a calm waiting area, but not ideal for a full pre-flight meal.
