Construction noise around Estero Beach and Tennis Club

Considering a stay at the Estero Beach and Tennis Club in May. The unit we plan to stay in is fine, pool done and waiting on permit. We're wondering about loud construction nearby. May is a long way off, I know. Has anyone seen that specific area, are most Beach properties finished with outdoor construction?

The area around Estero Beach and Tennis Club has seen quite a bit of development over the past few years, with some beachfront properties undergoing renovations or new construction. Typically, larger projects like pool updates or building additions are done during the off-season or spread out over several months, but this can vary depending on the property owner and contractor schedules.

Based on recent reports from guests and locals:

  • Most of the major beachfront resorts and condos have completed their exterior construction, particularly high-traffic or high-visibility areas.
  • Smaller renovations, such as painting, landscaping, or private pool updates, may still occur and can generate some noise, but these are generally limited to standard working hours (Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm).
  • Some new condo projects or townhouses a bit further from Estero Beach may still be under construction, but the majority of the beachfront near the main strip is quiet compared to past years.

Guest tips for minimizing disruption during your stay:

  • Contact the Estero Beach and Tennis Club directly a few weeks before your visit to ask about any ongoing construction schedules in the immediate vicinity.
  • If possible, request a unit that is away from the edge of the property facing new developments or busy construction sites.
  • Check online reviews or forums closer to your travel date to see if recent visitors have mentioned noise from nearby projects.

Overall, while minor construction may still occur in the area, most guests report a relatively quiet beachfront experience, especially compared to a few years ago when major renovations were more common. Your stay in May is likely to be peaceful, but it’s always wise to verify the latest updates with the resort directly.
