I'm looking at booking the RT water taxi from King Salmon to Brooks Falls. I see that there is a mandatory bear safety requirement at Brooks Camp Visitor's Center so I need to consider timing. If I book the water taxi the SAME DAY, I need to estimate how much time to do everything: hike from wherever the water taxi is, participate in the bear safety, view the bears, eat :), and anything else. There are water taxis going over early in the morning and last water taxi to King Salmon is 8pm. Realistically, how much time should I build in for a day trip to and from KS and BC? No. I am not camping or staying at BC. Thanks for any information.
