White House Audio Tour

We will be taking a tour of the White House and we have downloaded the WH Experience app. I know they are strict on what we can bring inside with us. Does anyone know if we can bring earphones/earbuds? I assume they don't want everyone's app to be speaking aloud, but I don't want to lose my earbuds if I bring them and get turned away. Anyone visit recently and can tell me what the latest rules are? Thanks in advance!
