Good evening all,

I will be travelling to DC from England on my own to experience thanksgiving in the US. I was hoping for any recommendations for events on over this period, or suggestions for the best places to go to socialise and meet locals.

I solo travel a lot and enjoy soaking up the culture and people, and the US has always been on the bucketlist. I will be heading on to Philadelphia afterwards.
