Transportation from Hilton Hawaii Village to cruise port

We will be spending one night in Honolulu during our cruise. We plan on taking a taxi from the cruise port to the Hilton Hawaii Village. We assume there will be a taxi stand at the cruise port for our departure. My question is for our return from the Hilton to the cruise port. Do we need to call a taxi in advance, can we expect the hotel get us a taxi or is there a nearby taxi stand outside the hotel?

Thank you

For your return trip from the Hilton Hawaiian Village to the cruise port, there are a few options you can consider:

1. Taxis: You do not need to call a taxi in advance, as taxis are typically available at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The hotel has a taxi stand just outside the property, so you should be able to find a taxi without much wait. The staff at the Hilton can also assist you in calling a taxi if needed. However, it's always a good idea to allow some extra time just in case there’s a slight wait, especially during busy times.

2. Hotel Concierge Assistance: The Hilton Hawaiian Village concierge desk is always available to help you with arranging transportation, including taxis. If you’re concerned about timing, you can ask the concierge to schedule a taxi for you in advance. They can also give you an estimate of how long it will take for a taxi to arrive.

3. Ride-Sharing Services: If you prefer, you can use ride-sharing services such as Uber or Lyft. These services operate in Honolulu, and you can easily arrange for a pick-up through their apps. The hotel staff can help guide you to the designated pick-up areas for ride-sharing vehicles.

  • Taxi Stand: There is a taxi stand located just outside the Hilton Hawaiian Village, where you can pick up a taxi directly. This is a common option for many guests staying at the hotel.
  • Concierge Assistance: You can also have the hotel concierge arrange a taxi for you, ensuring you have one waiting at your preferred time.
  • Ride-Sharing: Alternatively, you can use apps like Uber or Lyft for convenience, and the staff can direct you to the appropriate pick-up location for these services.

In general, transportation from the Hilton to the cruise port is relatively easy to arrange, and taxis or ride-sharing services are always available. It’s always good to allow extra time for the journey, particularly if you’re traveling during peak hours, to ensure you arrive at the cruise port on time.
