Child friendly restaurants
Hi, will be in Key Largo, the Mariners club for 5 nights end of February . Will have my 2 grandsons, ( with my son and DIL) 4 and 1. Looking for restaurants to go to. Thanks so much in advance!!
Key Largo offers several family-friendly restaurants that are perfect for children, especially with younger kids like 4 and 1-year-olds. Many of these spots provide casual atmospheres, kid menus, and outdoor seating which is great in February’s mild weather.
Recommended Child-Friendly Restaurants in Key Largo:
- Harriette’s Restaurant & Gallery: A relaxed spot with a varied menu, good for breakfast or lunch, and kid-friendly options.
- Mrs. Mac’s Kitchen: Very casual and well-known for its comfort food and seafood. They offer high chairs and kid-friendly dishes.
- Key Largo Conch House: Offers a mix of seafood and Caribbean-inspired dishes, with outdoor seating and a welcoming atmosphere for families.
- The Fish House: Casual dining with fresh seafood, kids’ menu options, and a lively environment.
- Ballyhoo’s Historic Seafood Grille: Located on the water, it has a casual vibe and is accommodating for families with small children.
Tips for Dining with Young Kids:
- Opt for lunch or early dinner times to avoid busy crowds and long waits.
- Bring small snacks or activities for the kids in case of wait times.
- Outdoor seating is great in February, as the weather is mild and kids have space to move.
- Check for restaurants that have high chairs, booster seats, and changing stations, which many of the above locations provide.
With a 5-night stay at the Mariners Club, you’ll have time to try several of these spots. Many are within a short drive, so it’s easy to mix casual lunches with slightly more scenic dinner locations by the water.
