Hi! Flying from uk to vegas in august with virgin and I’m trying to decide on which side of the plane I should sit on for the best views? Mostly I’ve read to go with the right side as you usually get the view of the strip. I’ve read you can also see the Grand Canyon but not sure what side I would have to be on? Also is there any other interesting things to see on my flight? Im taking my daughter for her 21st and we’re both so excited so just want to make the most of the flight too as this is a once in a lifetime trip for us both. Also curious on best seats to choose. We’re only in economy so not much choice but if anyone had any information that might help us out then we’d be so grateful. Thanks all
What an exciting trip! Flying from the UK to Las Vegas will definitely be an experience, and it’s fantastic that you and your daughter are making the most of it. Here’s a breakdown of the best options for seats and views on your flight to make it even more special:
Best Side for Views:
When flying into Las Vegas, you’re right that the right side of the plane is typically the best for views, especially for seeing the iconic Las Vegas Strip as you approach. However, for the Grand Canyon, the view is often better from the left side of the plane, depending on your flight path. The Grand Canyon is usually approached from the south or east, so if the flight is coming from that direction, the left side may offer a better view.
