Thinking about the drive half-way between Denver and Durango. And want to check out a cool town with things to do, a downtown with eating. We might stay a couple days. Love hiking, waterfalls, scenery, etc. Would you opt to stay in Salida, Villa Grove or Alamosa? Do you have other suggestions? Thanks.
