Hi,
We plan to spend a few days at Huntington Beach in July.
I saw a review for the Pacific Hideaway, which looks really nice. I was wondering whether it gets really busy in July (reservations recommended) and what sort of live music they have on Thursdays?
Thanks
Pacific Hideaway in Huntington Beach is a popular spot, especially during the summer months. July is one of the busiest times due to vacation season and the beach crowd, so reservations are highly recommended if you plan to dine there, particularly for dinner or peak hours in the evening.
The restaurant has a relaxed, coastal vibe with a focus on Californian cuisine and craft cocktails. The indoor-outdoor seating helps accommodate the summer crowd, but it can still fill up quickly, especially on weekends.
Regarding live music, Pacific Hideaway often features local musicians on certain evenings. On Thursdays, they typically host acoustic sets or small bands, creating a laid-back atmosphere rather than a high-energy concert. The music is generally meant to complement the dining experience without being overpowering.
Overall, Pacific Hideaway is well-suited for a relaxed, enjoyable evening after a day at the beach, and with reservations, you should have a smooth experience even in the busy summer season.
