Game Bars

My hubby and I went to Nashville last year, and found an AWESOME place called Pins Mechanical Company. It was a blast. They had indoor bocce ball, corn hole, duck pin bowling, ping pong, barrel “beer pong”, ring toss, skeeball ball and so much more!! I am trying to find a similar place in Tucson with no luck 🥺. Does anybody know of a similar place? Even if it only has a few of the above mentioned games? TIA 🤗

Tucson has a few spots that offer a fun mix of games and socializing, though nothing exactly like Pins Mechanical Company in scale. There are venues with a mix of classic bar games, arcade-style activities, and social lounges that might give you a similar experience for a night out.

Here are some options you can explore:

  • 4th Avenue or Downtown Tucson Bars with Games: Several bars in downtown Tucson and the 4th Avenue area have pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, and sometimes cornhole or other bar games. While they may not have everything Pins offers, the social vibe and variety of games can still be entertaining.
  • Boxyard Tucson: This is an outdoor space with food, drinks, and occasional games or events. They sometimes host game nights or casual competitions like cornhole, and the atmosphere is lively and casual.
  • Lucky’s Mini Golf & Bar: While not exactly a bar arcade, some mini-golf venues combine drinks and casual games in a social setting. Tucson has a few places with mini-golf and arcade-style games, which can be fun for couples.
  • Escape Rooms with Game Areas: Some escape room locations in Tucson also have a small lounge area with arcade games, board games, or small competitions while you wait or afterward.

Additional tips:

  • Check for “barcade” events in Tucson—some bars occasionally host nights with arcade machines, ping pong tournaments, or other interactive games.
  • Smaller lounges or brewery taprooms may have bocce, corn hole, or ring toss outside, especially in spring or fall.
  • Call ahead to confirm which games are available, as offerings can change seasonally.

While Tucson may not have a venue as comprehensive as Pins Mechanical Company in Nashville, combining a few game-focused bars, breweries, or social spaces can give you a similar experience of active, fun evening entertainment.
