Harry Reid to Delano transfer

Hello all, just looking for some advice on best ways to get from the airport to our hotel at the Delano. We don’t land until nearly 8pm on a Saturday night.

Ease is most preferable so do you think a taxi, uber or pre booked transfer. All advice happily taken

Getting from Harry Reid International Airport (formerly McCarran) to the Delano Hotel in Las Vegas can be done in several ways, depending on your preference for convenience, cost, and speed. Since you’re arriving late on a Saturday night, here are a few options to consider:

  • Taxi: Taxis are readily available at the airport 24/7. They offer a straightforward, door-to-door service to the Delano and will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis are a bit more expensive than rideshares, with fares typically ranging from $20 to $25. Taxis are ideal if you want a hassle-free and immediate option.
  • Uber or Lyft: Both Uber and Lyft are widely available at Harry Reid. You can use the app to book your ride, and it will take about the same amount of time as a taxi. The cost is generally lower than a taxi, with fares typically ranging from $15 to $20 depending on demand at the time of your ride. However, availability may be lower during peak hours like weekends, so be prepared for a short wait.
  • Pre-booked Transfer: Pre-booking a private airport transfer or shuttle service can offer the most convenience, especially if you want to avoid waiting in line for a taxi or rideshare. This option is ideal if you're looking for a stress-free experience. Prices can range from $30 to $60 depending on the service provider, and your driver will meet you at the airport with a sign. This can also be a more comfortable option if you're traveling with a group or a lot of luggage.
  • Shuttle Service (Shared Ride): Some shuttle services provide shared rides to hotels on the Strip, including the Delano. The downside is that you might have to wait for others to be dropped off at their hotels, so it can take longer. Prices are typically cheaper, around $10 to $15 per person, but the trade-off is less convenience.

If ease is your top priority and you don't mind spending a bit more, a taxi or Uber/Lyft is likely your best bet, especially if you're arriving late. Pre-booked transfers are great if you want a bit more peace of mind or are traveling with a group. Taxis are available immediately, but rideshares may require a short wait.

Whatever option you choose, the Delano is only about a 10-minute drive from the airport, so none of these options will take too long. Have a great trip to Las Vegas!
