Best hotel with teens & shows?

Hello! We will be traveling in June. We are coming for a concert at MGM. We are a variety of ages 64-17. We would like a fun but not totally wild and jam packed pool. Larger rooms a bonus. Budget is open.

Also, we would like to take them to a show. It has been a long time since I have been to Vegas. Any show recommendations for our variety of ages? Thank you!

It sounds like you're in for a fantastic family trip to Las Vegas! June will be a great time to visit, and there are a lot of hotels and shows that cater to a variety of ages and interests. Since you're looking for a fun hotel with a pool that’s not too wild, plus a great show experience, here are some recommendations:

Best Hotels for Families with Teens:

  • The Venetian: This hotel is great for families because it offers spacious suites, which is perfect for your group with different ages. The Venetian's pools are fun but not overly packed, and there’s plenty to do with the Grand Canal Shoppes and gondola rides. It's also centrally located for easy access to shows and other activities in Vegas.
  • The Cosmopolitan: This is a trendy hotel that has a lively atmosphere without being too overwhelming. The pool area at The Cosmopolitan is sophisticated yet fun, with options for lounging or swimming. The rooms are spacious and have a more modern vibe. The location is great for families, with easy access to many attractions, including shows, shopping, and dining.
  • MGM Grand: Since you'll be attending a concert at MGM, this hotel is a great option. It has a large pool complex with a relaxing atmosphere, but it also offers entertainment options for teens. The rooms are spacious, and it's close to several great shows and attractions. Plus, being right by the concert venue makes it convenient!
  • Caesars Palace: Caesars offers larger rooms and a great pool area with a relaxed vibe, especially compared to other more party-centric resorts. The hotel is iconic and has plenty of family-friendly activities like shopping at The Forum Shops and visiting the stunning Roman fountains. It’s centrally located on the Strip, which makes it easy to get around to other attractions and shows.
  • Aria: Known for its modern luxury, Aria offers spacious rooms and has a great balance between family-friendly fun and a more relaxed vibe. The pools are lovely, and the hotel has a more upscale feel, making it perfect for a variety of ages. Plus, it's located in the CityCenter complex, which offers great dining and shopping options nearby.

Show Recommendations for a Variety of Ages:

  • Cirque du Soleil Shows: Cirque du Soleil has several shows that cater to different interests and age groups. You could consider "O" at the Bellagio (water-themed, visually stunning, and suitable for all ages), "Mystère" at Treasure Island (classic, family-friendly), or “The Beatles LOVE” at The Mirage (perfect for teens and adults who enjoy music). These shows are always a hit with families and offer incredible performances.
  • Blue Man Group: The Blue Man Group is an interactive, musical, and visual show that appeals to all ages. The performances are energetic and fun, with a great mix of humor, music, and audience participation. It's a fantastic choice for teens and adults alike!
  • David Copperfield: If your teens enjoy magic, David Copperfield's show at the MGM Grand is a classic. It’s a mesmerizing blend of magic and storytelling that will captivate both younger and older audiences.
  • Mat Franco: Magic Reinvented Nightly: This show at The LINQ is a fun and interactive magic show that appeals to all ages. Mat Franco is the winner of America's Got Talent, and his show combines impressive illusions with humor, making it a great option for families.
  • The Lion King: If you're looking for a Broadway-style musical, consider catching The Lion King at the Mandalay Bay. It's a beautiful production with stunning visuals, music, and costumes, making it perfect for the entire family.

These hotels and shows should provide the perfect combination of relaxation, fun, and family-friendly entertainment for your group. Since your budget is open, you'll have a lot of great options to choose from. Make sure to book your tickets for the shows in advance, especially if you're traveling in June, as this is a busy time for Vegas.
