Things to do in boston for seven hours
Hi me and my wife fly in to boston at 5:00 pm end of February then we need to find something to do till are daughter flies in at 12:00 am any suggestions.
With seven hours to spend in Boston before your daughter arrives, there are plenty of great things to do, even in February! Here are some suggestions for how to spend your time:
- Visit the Boston Common and Public Garden: Take a stroll through the iconic Boston Common and Public Garden, especially if the weather is decent. You can enjoy the winter beauty of the park and even take a picture by the famous Swan Boats (if they're still in place, even though they're not in operation during winter).
- Explore the North End: Head over to the North End for some Italian culture. You can enjoy a cozy dinner at one of the many restaurants or cafes, and don't forget to stop by Mike’s Pastry for a famous cannoli!
- Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market: Faneuil Hall is one of Boston's historical landmarks, and Quincy Market nearby is a great spot to shop or grab a bite to eat. The atmosphere is lively, and you’ll get a feel for the city’s history and culture.
- New England Aquarium: If you're into marine life or just want to enjoy some indoor time, the New England Aquarium offers a chance to see a wide variety of sea creatures. It's a great spot to visit, especially if you want something warm to do indoors.
- Take a Cocktail or Craft Beer Tour: If you enjoy drinks, there are a number of places offering cocktail and craft beer tours. Boston has a burgeoning craft beer scene and many cocktail bars have unique offerings. Check out a few in the Seaport District or around Downtown Crossing.
- Museum of Fine Arts: The Museum of Fine Arts is open late on Fridays and is perfect for an evening of cultural immersion. You can explore art collections ranging from ancient civilizations to contemporary art.
- Skywalk Observatory: For an incredible view of Boston, head to the Skywalk Observatory at the Prudential Center. It’s a great way to get an aerial view of the city, especially if the weather is clear.
If you're looking for a relaxing activity, you can also try one of Boston's cozy coffee shops or cafes. It’s always nice to sit down, warm up, and just watch the world go by. After all, a winter evening in Boston can be beautiful with its snow-covered streets and lights.
With these options, you should be able to enjoy the city and make the most of your time until your daughter arrives!
