Restaurant recs.
We are looking for 3 restaurant recommendations for dinner. We will have kids. Staying at The Wilde Resort, so something a short dive from there. We are open to any type cuisine and would love to experience restaurants unique to Sedona, particularly if we could dine outside with a view. We don’t want prix fixe or ultra fancy. We are good with anything else from $-$$$. Thanks.
Sedona has a wide variety of family-friendly restaurants with beautiful scenery and outdoor dining options. Since you are staying at The Wilde Resort, you’ll want places within a short drive that offer casual to mid-range dining with unique Sedona flair.
Here are three recommended restaurants:
- The Hudson: Located just a few minutes from The Wilde Resort, The Hudson offers American cuisine with an emphasis on comfort foods and local ingredients. The patio has stunning red rock views, and the atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly.
- Elote Cafe: Known for its creative Mexican cuisine with a modern twist, Elote Cafe is a Sedona favorite. While it’s more of a casual to mid-range experience, it is highly rated and perfect for families who enjoy flavorful dishes. Reservations are recommended, and outdoor seating offers great views of the surrounding area.
- Creekside American Bistro: This bistro provides classic American dishes with a twist and features a lovely outdoor patio over Oak Creek. Kids will enjoy the menu options, and the location is convenient, providing a scenic, relaxed dining experience without being overly formal.
Additional Tips:
- All three restaurants offer outdoor seating, which is ideal in Sedona’s summer evenings.
- Arrive early or make reservations when possible, especially on weekends, as these popular spots can fill up quickly.
- Check the menu ahead of time if you have dietary restrictions, though all three are versatile and family-friendly.
These selections balance great views, a casual yet distinctive Sedona dining experience, and kid-friendly options. You’ll get a mix of local flavor and comfort dining without the need for a prix fixe or ultra-fancy setting.
