Hi we are hoping to visit the area or Clearwater as part of our holiday this summer. Is the area still recovering from storm damage or is everything repaired and open now? Any recommendations on places to stay ? Family of 4 two adults 2 teens

Hi! It’s great that you’re planning a trip to St. Pete Beach or Clearwater this summer! Both areas are popular destinations, and it’s good to check in on recovery efforts after recent storms. Here’s the current situation and some hotel recommendations:

Recovery from Storm Damage
The area has made significant progress in recovering from past storm damage, and most of the major attractions, beaches, and hotels have been fully repaired and are open for business. While there may be some minor ongoing repairs in a few areas, the beaches, resorts, and the majority of local businesses in both St. Pete Beach and Clearwater have reopened. It’s safe to visit, and you should have a great experience with minimal disruptions.
