Luxor Tower to Excalibur

Hi All,

Was wondering if someone could help me. I've looked around and can't seem to find the answer. When I look at Google earth I can see the luxor towers are closer to Excalibur than the main casino. I'm in a tower room next week and was wondering if I can walk straight from there?

From what I've seen of videos you can't as you need to go via the moving walkway area and that's only accessible from the casino. Has anyone stayed there recently to confirm/deny this?

Thanks in advance.

Chris

Hi Chris,

You're correct that the Luxor Tower rooms are physically closer to Excalibur than the main casino area. However, as you've noticed, there is no direct walkway from the Luxor Tower to Excalibur without going through the main casino area. Here’s a more detailed breakdown of how to navigate between the two:

Walking from the Luxor Tower to Excalibur:

While the Luxor Tower rooms are indeed closer to Excalibur, you’ll need to pass through the casino area to reach the walkway that connects to Excalibur. There’s a moving walkway that runs from Luxor to Excalibur, but it’s only accessible from inside the Luxor’s main casino, not directly from the tower rooms themselves.

If you’re staying in a tower room and you’re looking to head to Excalibur:

  • First, you’ll need to exit your tower room and head toward the Luxor main casino.
  • Once inside the casino, you can access the moving walkway that takes you over to Excalibur.
  • The moving walkway is well-marked and should be easy to find as you make your way through the casino.

Alternative routes:

  • If you prefer to avoid the casino floor altogether, you can take a short walk outside around the perimeter of the buildings, but this may not be the most direct route.
  • Also, keep in mind that there’s a pedestrian bridge between the Luxor and Excalibur that goes over the street. If you're looking for a quicker route and don’t mind a short walk outdoors, this is a good option.

Summary:

You cannot walk directly from the Luxor Tower to Excalibur without passing through the Luxor casino, as the walkway is only accessible from there. The moving walkway should be easy to find, though, and it's a relatively quick and convenient way to get to Excalibur. If you’d prefer, you can also use the pedestrian bridge for a more direct outdoor route.

Enjoy your stay in Las Vegas, and I hope this helps with your plans!
