I have noticed more children on the ships lately......so I thought I would offer some susggestions....

One of the shuttle stops is right by the library......there is a large rack of used books there for sale.....the childrens's books at their level.......there are also ongoing programs in the Childrens Library, puppet shows, reading etc.......

Right next door is Mountain Market......even if you don't get a coffee or pastry, there are outside tables and several little peddle kiddie cars......

Another stop of the shuttle route is the Bald Eagle Museum.....if you time it right you can see staff feeding the resident eagles......also a room with a huge variety of taxidermied animals and.......

Across the road from the Bald Eagle Museum is a short trail leading into Tlingat Park....the playground was designed by local kids and is a great place for them to burn off a little energy......

If your kids need an inexpensive rain coat or boots.....Talia's on Main Street is a consignment store full of all kinds of pre-owned bargains.....
