It has been the 40th Anniversary of the BBC’s drama, Eastenders, this last week or so and what better way to honour this achievement than recall the stellar musical career of one of its characters, Simon ‘Wicksy’ Wicks in the title of another well overdue Trip Report.

I appreciate the moment for this report has long since passed, but given that in over 20 trips to Vegas now, this was the first time I have ever brought home more money than I took, made me think it does require some documenting. Who knows, it may well be a very long time before it happens again.

Once again, the writing of this report has gotten a little out of hand and much longer than planned, so the abbreviated version for those that do not want to plough through is that it was a ten night trip from October 19th to 29th. The main focus of the trip was to see the Raiders play the Chiefs. We also took in a VGK game, the U2 film at the The Sphere, had a great night at Lago at Bellagio and had various gambling wins including four handpays. Did I mention this was a winning trip??!
