After some research I think my quickest option to get from Miami airport to Fort Lauderdale (not the airport) is the Tri Rail.
Could someone help me with a luggage query please.
On Tri Rail trains can you sit by your luggage or at least have it in your eye line?
I'm not keen on leaving suitcases in a carriage I'm not sitting in.
Thank you in advance
The Tri Rail is a great option for traveling from Miami Airport to Fort Lauderdale, and it's good to know you're considering luggage security. Here’s some information regarding luggage on Tri Rail trains:
Tri Rail trains do allow passengers to bring luggage on board, and you can keep your luggage close by, but there are some guidelines to keep in mind:
In short, you can sit near your luggage on the Tri Rail train, especially if you prefer to keep it within sight. It’s always a good idea to place your bags in the designated spaces near the doors or racks, and if you're unsure, try to sit in the area where your luggage will be most visible to you. Many travelers find the seating and luggage setup comfortable enough for a short trip.
If you’re still uncertain or prefer extra reassurance, consider traveling during off-peak hours when the train is less crowded, giving you more space to keep an eye on your belongings. Enjoy your ride and safe travels to Fort Lauderdale!
