Car service/tranfer/uber
Looking for some transportation options/ recommendations/timing. My husband, 23 yr old and myself are arriving on Saturday April 26, flying into BUR, we will uber to our hotel (Hilton universal). Going to Universal on Sunday for park/fan fest.
Monday 4/28 we are going to Warner brothers tour before we head to Disney. I’m stuck trying to figure out the what time to do the tour so that we don’t hit a ton of traffic heading to DL. We would like to get to Disney before dinner. Will probably uber unless someone has a car/ transport service?
What would be a good time to do the tour? First one at 9 so that we can head to Disney around noon?
Leaving Friday May 2, flying out of SNA and want to use transfer car/company not uber.
For your trip to Los Angeles and Orange County, planning the Warner Bros. Studio Tour and your transfer to Disneyland can be optimized to avoid traffic and ensure a smooth day.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour timing:
The tour lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Traffic in Los Angeles can be heavy, especially on weekdays between 10:00 am–2:00 pm and around 4:00–7:00 pm. Since you want to get to Disneyland before dinner, you should plan your tour early in the day.
- If you take the first tour at 9:00 am, you would finish around 11:30 am–12:00 pm.
- This gives you enough time to leave Burbank and head to Anaheim. The drive can take anywhere from 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours, depending on traffic, so you could realistically arrive around 1:00 pm–1:30 pm.
- If you want to be at Disneyland closer to 5:00 pm for dinner, this timing is ideal, giving you a buffer in case of traffic.
Transportation options from Warner Bros. to Disneyland:
- Uber/Lyft: Convenient and flexible, especially if you have multiple people and luggage. Expect higher surge pricing if leaving during peak traffic times.
- Private car service: Companies like Blacklane, GoLUX, or local L.A. town car services offer flat-rate rides from Burbank to Anaheim. This can be more comfortable than Uber and ensures you have a reliable pick-up time.
- Rental car: If you prefer flexibility, renting a car for the day allows you to leave at your pace. Note that parking at Disneyland is an additional cost and can be a bit of a walk from the gate.
Additional tips:
- Check Google Maps or Waze before leaving to get real-time traffic updates; it can change the expected travel time by 30–45 minutes.
- Leave Burbank around noon at the latest if you want to arrive at Disneyland by early afternoon. If you want more buffer, consider leaving around 11:45 am.
- If taking a car service, book in advance and confirm pick-up times, as most companies can adjust slightly for traffic delays.
Return transfer from Anaheim to SNA:
- For your departure on Friday, May 2, booking a private transfer or shuttle service in advance is highly recommended. This is more reliable than Uber, especially if you have luggage or prefer guaranteed timing.
- Options include:
- SuperShuttle (shared or private rides)
- ExecuCar, Blacklane, or local L.A. town car services (private, flat rate)
- Hotel concierge services – Hilton Universal may also assist in arranging a private car or shuttle to SNA.
- Book at least 24–48 hours in advance and confirm your flight details to ensure timely pick-up.
With the 9:00 am Warner Bros. tour and an early afternoon transfer to Disneyland, you should have a comfortable schedule with minimal stress. Pre-booked transfers for your arrival and departure days will streamline your trip and reduce uncertainty around LA traffic.
