Gold Coast Hotel

Hello has anyone stayed at the Gold Coast recently. I was there last year and will be later this year there was a shortage of chairs and sun beds more broken than useable at the pool just wondering if been updated

Thankyou

I've heard mixed things about the Gold Coast recently. It’s a popular off-strip hotel and casino, and while it's generally a solid choice for those looking for good value, there have been some concerns about the pool area and overall maintenance in the past.

Regarding the pool situation you mentioned, it’s been noted that the Gold Coast did experience some issues with pool chairs and sunbeds being in poor condition. However, there have been reports that some updates were being made over the last year or two to improve the pool area. The hotel is continuously making improvements, but it's always good to check recent reviews to confirm the current condition.

  • Recent Pool Updates:

As of the last reports, the pool area has seen some improvements, with chairs and sunbeds being replaced or repaired. However, the pool still tends to get crowded during peak times, especially in the summer months, so it's a good idea to head over early to secure a spot. Some guests have mentioned that the area still feels a bit dated, but it’s still functional.

  • Overall Experience:

The hotel itself has a good reputation for being affordable and well-located near the Rio, with decent rooms and a more relaxed atmosphere compared to the busier, larger resorts on the Strip. It’s a good option for those who don't mind being a little off-strip but still want a casino, restaurants, and easy access to Vegas attractions.

  • Value:

If you're looking for value and don't mind a bit of a more "no-frills" experience, the Gold Coast is often a solid pick. While it may not have the luxury amenities of some Strip resorts, it’s a more budget-friendly option with decent service.

In summary, while the pool area may still not be perfect, it has improved since your last stay, and the Gold Coast remains a great option if you're looking for a more affordable stay in Las Vegas. For more recent feedback, you may want to check up-to-date reviews closer to your trip to ensure the pool area has met your expectations.
