July 10, 6:20 p.m.—Due to the White Sage Fire near Jacob Lake, ALL visitors must evacuate the North Rim immediately. Hwy 89A to Fredonia is closed; 89A east to Page remains open. Travel calmly on paved roads only. North Rim day use is closed. Employees at North Rim shelter in place.

The North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park is currently closed due to the White Sage Fire near Jacob Lake.
