Foot massage in Beijing

Hi all,

Does anyone has any good recommendations for foot massage parlors in Beijing, within the 2nd Ring Road or near the Olympic Village where we will be staying ?

We love to go for foot massages on holidays to soothe the tired feet after all the walking but in China, esp.Beijing, it is very difficult for foreigners to search for infos online. Tried Baidu Map & Amap but the infos are either very outdated or very brief in its descriptions and details.

Would appreciate if the name and address in Chinese could be provided so that we can show it to the taxi/Didi drivers.

Thanks.

Beijing has many reputable foot massage and reflexology parlors, including some that cater to foreigners and are located conveniently within the 2nd Ring Road or near the Olympic Village. These places typically offer a combination of foot massage, reflexology, and full-body massage in a clean and professional environment.

1. Recommended foot massage parlors:

  • Wangfujing Foot Massage (王府井足浴) – Address: 王府井大街188号, Dongcheng District, Beijing. Centrally located near Wangfujing shopping area, offers professional foot massage and reflexology services.
  • Dragonfly Spa (蜻蜓水疗) – Multiple locations, including one near Sanlitun. Known for clean facilities, English-speaking staff, and high-quality foot and body massages. Address example: 三里屯路19号, Chaoyang District.
  • Tianqiao Health Foot Massage (天桥保健足疗) – Address: 天桥南大街5号, Xicheng District. Traditional Chinese foot massage with a local feel and reasonable prices.
  • Happy Foot Spa (快乐足疗) – Address: 奥林匹克公园附近, Chaoyang District. Convenient for visitors staying near the Olympic Village, offers foot massage and basic spa services.

2. Practical tips for visiting:

  • Bring the Chinese address in text form to show to your taxi or Didi driver.
  • Check opening hours in advance; most parlors are open from late morning until late evening.
  • Tip in cash is optional but appreciated in some establishments.
  • Consider booking in advance if visiting in peak tourist periods, as popular parlors may be crowded.
  • Ask for English-speaking staff if you are concerned about communication, though simple gestures often suffice.

In summary, for visitors staying near the Olympic Village or within the 2nd Ring Road, Dragonfly Spa, Happy Foot Spa, Wangfujing Foot Massage, and Tianqiao Health Foot Massage are reliable choices to relax and rejuvenate after long sightseeing days in Beijing.
