Visited Þingvellir National Park in Iceland in March🏞️, it was so stunning! This is the junction of the Eurasian and North American plates, and the fissure landform is very unique. It was listed as a World Heritage Site in 2004 and is one of the few ultra-northern national parks. The characteristic pink-blue Öxarárfoss waterfall! ! 🤍🤍 The colors are super beautiful💙 with the snow-capped mountains in the background 🏔️There is also a lake called Þingvallavatn here, which is as calm as a mirror and has glaciers, reflecting the distant mountains and the sky🌅! There is also Silfra fissure diving, where the water is so clear that you can see the bottom.
The winter temperature in early March is 2-3 degrees, dress warmly because it is very spacious🤍
When summer comes, there will be a large green grassland and a blue lake. I want to visit again in different seasons!
🚗 Transportation from Reykjavik🚐, about 50 kilometers, 45 minutes by car
⏰ It is recommended to reserve 3-4 hours
