“Luohan Temple” is located in Yuzhong District, #Chongqing. It was originally called “Zhiping Temple”, named after the era in which it was built (Zhiping 治平 1064-1067) during the Northern Song Dynasty.

“Luohan Temple” is also one of the important and sacred temples of Buddhism in Chongqing. There are more than 100 deities to pray for health, career, and love.

How to pray at Luohan Temple:
1. Prepare:
Prepare a set of incense sticks, candles, and red paper to write your name and the blessing you want to pray for.
2. Pray to the heavens and earth:
Light 3 incense sticks and face the temple door. Pray to the heavens and earth, then say your name, address, age, and purpose of the prayer.
3. Worship the local spirits:
Worship the local spirits in front of the temple gate, saying your name, address, age, and purpose of the request.
4. Stick incense:
Stick 3 incense sticks at each point of worship.
