[Festival of Light and Taste🎇] Enjoy a Gourmet and Illumination Trip at Hakata Station at Night
Hakata Station, the center of Fukuoka, is a transportation hub, but also a travel destination, and is a spot full of charm🚉. In winter, the square in front of the station is decorated with fantastic illuminations, and it is crowded with couples and families💡💑. In the station building, there are ramen, motsunabe, mentaiko, and other Fukuoka gourmet foods🍽️
When you actually visit, it is so gorgeous that you can't believe it is a station, and you will be impressed by the beauty of the illuminations✨. There is also a wide variety of gourmet foods, and it is a great point that you can enjoy the taste of Fukuoka just at the station! It is also fun to choose souvenirs, so I ended up staying for a long time🎁
Access is about 5 minutes by subway from Fukuoka Airport. It is also easily accessible from all over the city🚇
The key to success is to visit at night! The best time to see the illuminations is after sunset. Many of the gourmet restaurants are popular, so be prepared to wait in line in advance or visit at a slightly different time. The rooftop garden of the station building is also a hidden gem 🌃
