[Hiroshima] Tomonoura, a scenic spot that once flourished as a port waiting for the wind to blow

When I visited Tomonoura, I was captivated by the townscape with its historic atmosphere. As a port town that has continued since the Edo period, the old streets and fishing boats parked in the port gave me a sense of the quiet flow of time. Walking through the town, the stone-paved roads and old-fashioned merchant houses lined up, gave me a nostalgic feeling. In particular, the view from the place overlooking Tomonoura Bay was wonderful, with the calm sea and mountain scenery spreading out before me, which was soothing to the soul. I also visited Fukuzenji Temple in the center of town and the Tomonoura Lighthouse, which can be said to be the symbol of Tomonoura, and was able to enjoy a quiet moment while feeling the sea breeze.
