A well-deserved Michelin-recommended local desserts in Penang

Last year a buddy visited me from United States, so we did a weekend short trip to Penang. Because this place was on the list of Michelin recommendations, so we set out to give it a try.

Both of us don’t exactly have a sweet tooth, but it turned out we enjoyed the desserts a lot. First of all, they have almost ALL variety of nyonya desserts; secondly, they offer them in ultra small portion, which is FANTASTIC, so we were able to try more variety without getting full (and fat).

Taste wise, it’s exactly what we grew up eating. I can’t say how heavenly it is, because these kinda traditional food is meant to be simple. But everything tasted distinct, and nothing was a letdown.

This is one of the Michelin recommendations that I endorse.
