Shirakawa-go Gassho Village is a World Heritage Site located in Gifu Prefecture, and is a beautiful area dotted with traditional Gassho-style villages.

Gassho-style is an architectural style with steeply sloping roofs, and is characterized by its design adapted to areas with heavy snowfall ❄️

About 100 Gassho-style houses have been preserved in this village, and the "Wada House" and "Ogimachi Gassho Village" in particular are known as tourist attractions.
