Tsuen Wan High-Value Yakiniku Gyuken

Suddenly craving yakiniku, I tried this place in Tsuen Wan 🔺Gyuken🔻. Overall, I think the value for money is great, the portions are generous, especially the upgraded set meal, which is quite satisfying😋

The presentation caught my eye as soon as it arrived. There’s plenty of sea urchin and fish roe, bursting with fresh flavors. The grilled meat has a slight charred aroma, and the rice has absorbed the sauce well. The overall texture is rich, including everything I wanted to eat, very satisfying👍🏻

The portion was bigger than I expected. The meat is fresh, thick, and tender, with evenly distributed fat. You can grill it to your preferred doneness. This cut doesn’t have too much fat, the meat flavor is quite rich, and it’s juicy!🤤

🍚 Upgraded Large Bowl of Seaweed Rice with Japanese Onsen Egg +$12
It’s really a huge bowl😂 The top layer of seaweed, sauce, and onsen egg mixed together tastes great. When you get to the plain rice at the bottom, adding some sauce makes it even better.

🍟 The fries portion is also large, but unfortunately, they’re not very crispy.

The alcohol flavor isn’t strong, very refreshing and chilled.

🍇 Kyoho Grape Soda
Strong grape aroma, sweet but not overly so, quite tasty.

🫔 Foie Gras Toast $88
The foie gras fat is fragrant, with a soft texture. The toast is crispy, delicious.
