Slam Dunk Village

A Day Trip from Tokyo to the 'Slam Dunk' Pilgrimage Site, Kamakura

The area near Kamakurakokomae Station, with the Enoden train as the backdrop, is famous as the spot where Hanamichi Sakuragi from Slam Dunk is seen standing! Since it can be crowded during the day, making it hard to take photos, I decided to stay overnight.

On the first day, I explored Enoshima Island, and the next morning, I went to Kamakurakokomae to take pictures at dawn. I checked the early train schedule beforehand, and there were fewer than five people around, making it very convenient to take photos and videos. I was quite satisfied!

The Enoden train in Kamakura runs through the town's alleys, which was fascinating to see.
