Matsumoto's "cuteness" is crammed into the backstreets. Small variety stores found on a quiet stroll through the town.

Matsumoto is famous for its castle town atmosphere and craft fairs, but the highlight of the trip was actually the "back alleys."
A little away from the hustle and bustle in front of the station, I wandered down a narrow, quiet alley. Small shops that had been renovated from old buildings appeared before me like a treasure hunt.
🌿 [Shioribi]
A book cafe with soft light streaming in through large windows. Books selected by the owner and paper goods by local artists are lined up. A space where you can forget about time.
🧵 [LABORATORIO]
From tableware and cloth accessories to fragrances. A lifestyle shop with a great selection of goods. Perfect for souvenirs and personal use.
🍯 [mark]
Small jars of jam and honey, and wooden spoons. A shop packed with attention to detail, and chatting with the owner will be a memory of your trip.
As you walk, you can hear the sounds of local people's daily lives right next to you, and the whole town feels like a "museum of life."
The charm of Matsumoto is that there aren't many people, so you can walk quietly but with excitement. #DomesticTravel #WalkingInMatsumoto #Matsumoto #SightseeingInMatsumoto #Walk #MiscellaneousGoods
